Somalia Goes Hungry in the Month of Giving

All praise is due to Allah, the Rich and Generous, the One whose mercy is all-embracing, who gives in abundance and whose gifts are immeasurable. Allah says, ‘Whatever is with you, will deplete, and whatever is with Allah (of good deeds) will remain.’
Allah legislated fasting for the purpose of actualising taqwa (God consciousness), remembering the hungry, and consoling the poor and needy. He addressed the son of Adam saying, ‘Spend, I will spend on you.’ Our Prophet, who is most learned of our Lord said concerning Him, ‘Allah's Hand is full, and (its fullness) is not affected by the continuous spending of night and day.’ He also said, ‘Do you see what He has spent since He created the Heavens and the Earth? Nevertheless, what is in His Hand has not decreased.’
I bear witness that Muhammad is His Messenger and slave. Anas Ibn Malik who served him said, ‘Allah’s messenger was the best of people, the most generous of people and the most courageous of people.’
Fear Allah and obey Him. Reap enough provisions from Ramadan as an investment to await you, since it is only a few limited days. Contemplate on the Qur’an, resurrect the night in prayer, refrain your tongues from frivolous speech and protect your hearing and sight from unlawful matters. Maintain your ties of kinship; feed the poor and outperform one another in good deeds and benevolent actions. ‘And whatever good You do, (be sure) Allah knows it; and take a provision (with you) for the journey, but the best provision is taqwa. So fear Me, O men of understanding!’
O people, when selfishness and self-centredness become widespread the hearts become hard and coarse, they fail to feel pain from having sympathy with the affliction of others. It is only their own wellbeing that concerns them even if everyone else around them falls apart. To counter this tendency, divine scripture instructs us in the equality of rights and obligations between people; and in the provision of comfort to those who are afflicted with hunger and severe trials.
The Prophets, may Allah be pleased with them, lived the lives of poor people to feel their plight; richness would not therefore dominate them causing them to forget the feelings and experiences of others. Neither would complete fulfilment occur causing them to remain oblivious to the hunger of others. Some exegetes of the Qur’an mention that when the Prophet Joseph took the position of treasurer of Egypt, he would distribute provision amongst the citizens yet make sure he himself would never be satiated. It was said to him, ‘Do you go hungry when you are the treasurer? He replied, ‘I fear that if I be satisfied I would forget the hungry person!’
Our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah praise and send peace and blessings upon him, put forth for us the most striking example of such behaviour; he positioned himself amongst the poor and needy in the matter of satiation and hunger. He would distribute enormous amounts of wealth and property between people and none of it would remain, not even a small amount for his food. He would never eat good food alone and instead invite others to dine with him in contrast to the norm of a person who is hungry and prefers not to share the wholesome food in his possession. Anas relates, ‘A lunch or dinner meal comprised of bread and meat would never be presented before him unless upon dafaf.’ It is said that dafaf means he would not eat alone but with people.
A more acute occurrence is that he would experience such hunger that he would bind his stomach. This would not be the result of seeking hunger as some monks and Sufis would do, but it was not his custom to store any food and when he would be hungry he would not ask others for food but instead exercise patience over his hunger and desperation. If the Prophet had wanted he would have set aside enormous wealth and the choicest types of food. If he had so desired he would have asked of his Companions and they in turn would have outdone each other in filling his house with all that is delicious and gratifying. Amongst them were business men such as Abu Bakr, ‘Uthman, Ibn ‘Awf and others. He, however, would not disclose his affair to his Companions unless one of them would become aware of a ligature around his stomach. This happened to Anas, and upon witnessing it he raced to his stepfather Abu Talhah to inform him as related in the hadith recorded by Muslim.
During the digging of the trench, the Muslims remained for three days without food and Jabir saw that the Prophet’s stomach was bound with a ligature because of extreme hunger as reported in al-Bukhari and Muslim.
Both events show Abu Talhah and Jabir preparing food which they wanted to offer to the Prophet exclusively. However his compassion for others was far greater than for his own self; his preference for his companions was indeed far greater than their preference for him.
Anas wanted to present the food specifically to the Prophet but he summoned everyone who was with him and he divided and distributed the food with his own honourable hand. They would enter in groups until they all took their fill, thereafter he, may Allah praise and send peace and blessings upon him, ate. He did the same in the incident with Jabir; he invited everyone who was digging the trench and he would himself give them food whilst his stomach was pressed down with a rock until they took their fill and then he ate.
The most gruelling matter the Prophet experienced would be to see those in dire poverty, need and hunger not being assisted by anyone. This occurred when some of the tribe of Mudar came, the Messenger’s face changed complexion at seeing their state. The Prophet addressed the community encouraging them to give in charity, ‘...Spend (in Allah's way) before you are prevented from spending. Let a man spend of his dinars, dirhams, clothes, measure of wheat, barley or dates.’ Until he said, ‘Do not belittle any amount of charity. Safeguard yourselves from the Fire, even with half a date.’ The community responded until they amassed a good amount of wealth that met the need and the Prophet’s face radiated with joy. His initial anger and vexation was not because of the presence of hunger, as this was merely a trial that had afflicted them, but it was a result of the lack of compassion shown to their own brothers and the evident negligence shown to their dire need.
This is an instruction and nurturing to sense the needs of those who are in want, to awaken the value of brotherhood between believers, and to make believers accustomed to providing relief and comfort in times of famine.
This practical nurturing towered and extended to his own household, he would train and discipline them to prefer others above themselves and to exercise patience over their own needs. One example of this is when ‘Ali and Fatimah had need of a servant to help with the difficulties of daily chores. They approached the Messenger and ‘Ali said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, by Allah, I draw water (from a well) to the extent that I suffer chest pains’ and Fatimah said, ‘I use a hand grill to grind until my hands form blisters and Allah has brought about for you captives and wealth (to distribute) so provide a servant for us.’ The Prophet replied, ‘By Allah, I cannot grant you and ignore the Ahl al-Suffah (poor people who lived off charity) with folded stomachs not having anything to spend on them. However, I will sell them and spend the proceeds on them.’
This education produced a devout and heartfelt generation, putting forward others first, preferring them with their own food and sensing their responsibility towards others. During the time of the Caliph ‘Umar, when cooking butter became expensive, he sufficed with oil and his stomach would rumble because of it. ‘Umar would remark, ‘Rumble as much as you want! By Allah, you will not taste cooking butter until the people do.’
Ibn ‘Umar fell ill and he desired grapes, so it was bought for him. He heard a beggar making a request so chose to give him the grapes. When evening would set Uways al-Qarni would donate any surplus food and clothing he had and supplicate, ‘O Allah, whoever dies from hunger, do not hold me to account because of that, and whoever dies lacking clothing, do not hold me to account because of that.’ When some would eat they would supplicate, ‘O Allah, do not hold me to account by the right of those in hunger!’
On a particularly wintery night Muhammad Ibn ‘Abdus al-Maliki gave in charity the entire yield of his land, which amounted to one hundred gold dinars. He expressed, ‘I could not sleep this night out of grief of the poor of the ummah of Muhammad, may Allah praise and send peace and blessings upon him.’
Where are these living hearts? Where are these overflowing emotions towards others in our present time, especially in the month of Ramadan? We experience hunger during the day in order to become full at night with all manner of delicious and satisfying food. Thousands of Muslims in Somalia are dying of hunger. Famine is also on the march in Djibouti, Eritrea and Sudan. Where are your efforts to comfort and provide relief to your brothers and sisters in the month of solace? By Allah, He indeed legislated fasting during the day to enable us to develop such feelings for them and to console them in their affliction. Allah the Most High has no need for our hunger and He has said,
‘O son of Adam, I asked you for food and you fed Me not.' He will say: 'O Lord, and how should I feed You when You are the Lord of the worlds?' He will say: 'Did you not know that My servant so-and-so asked you for food and you did not feed him? Did you not know that had you fed him you would surely have found the reward for doing so with Me?’
Allah is indeed asking you now for food in Somalia, so feed your brothers, and you will find the reward with your Lord, praised be He the Most High.
May Allah pardon us and remove the famine from our brothers, may He provide for them in ways they could never imagine. O Allah, do not leave them to their own charge for them to become powerless; do not leave them to our charge for us to be too weak to rise to the challenge and do not leave them to the charge of others for them to prefer themselves over the needy.
O Muslims, know that Somalia is experiencing severe starvation and dismal fatalities because of drought and hunger. The extent of famine is such that a third of their children are threatened with sure death. Half a million children are at the threshold of a grave. Television screens transmit the migration of columns of people traversing hundreds of miles on feet fleeing hunger towards an unknown end. The media show us the land that has been cracked open on account of drought and famine; there are pictures of children who have died from hunger and illness and others who are mere skeletons fighting death; their voices are weakened from hunger and they have no strength to cry or move. Their faces reveal to us their condition as they are unable to speak of their inner being. Pictures show the demise of their livestock and cattle from hunger.
The famine is such that a father flees from his family because he is certain of their death but is unable to remain and watch them die in front of him. Similarly, the ever-merciful mother during the migration abandons some of her children on the side of the road to lighten her load and move at a quicker pace to avoid the death of all of her children. Only Allah knows the grief in the heart of this mother for the ones she leaves behind and those she keeps with her who are crying of hunger before her.
How hard are human hearts as they see such still and moving images? The tales and tragedies are related and the hearts fail to move! How can we take the comfort of sleep? How can we take the pleasure of food? Only as a result of the demise of feelings and the hardening of hearts.
We hear a woman proclaim, ‘We are dying of hunger, where is the Muslim world? I plead you to help us’. One visitor mentions that the sick are left out in the open to await their death without any medical attention. Sixty children died in one of the camps in a single day because of hunger, bad nutrition and the spread of disease.
Servants of Allah, we are in the month of giving, feeding and doing good deeds. Our Messenger was the most generous in Ramadan than in any other time; he would be more generous than a swift wind (bringing rain). So take his example in being generous and multiply your charitable and generous endeavours in Ramadan, especially as we are witness to a severe famine this year and Allah has made specific mention of feeding during a famine as a means to deliver oneself from punishment, ‘but He has made no effort to pass on the Path that is steep and what will make You know the Path that is steep? (it is) freeing a neck (slave, etc.) or giving food during a Day of hunger (famine)...’
We know that a woman entered the Fire on account of a cat she imprisoned that she did not feed nor did she let roam to feed itself, so what about a human being, and even more so a Muslim who commands sanctity, allegiance, brotherhood and protection?
Consider the humiliating and servile fate of a tyrant of our times after causing the hunger of the people of Gaza with an underground wall of iron such that their children died of hunger - what did Allah do to him within the blink of an eye? And He is mighty in strength and severe in punishment.
So fear Allah that He may remove your blessings and take away your security if you fail to feed your brothers and to bring them relief with surplus of your wealth. Seek reward from Allah the Most High in this generous month and be of those whom He has described,
‘they (are those who) fulfil (their) vows, and they fear a Day whose evil will be wide-spreading and they give food, in spite of their love for it to the poor, the orphan, and the captive, (saying), “We feed You seeking Allah's Countenance only. We wish for no reward, nor thanks from you. Verily, we fear from Our Lord a day, hard and distressful, that will make faces look horrible (from extreme dislike of it)”.’
And send prayers and salaams upon your Prophet.

Tarawih Recitation

Tarawih Recitation: A message to all Imams

I call upon committee members and Imāms to seek the pleasure of Allah and not the pleasure of their congregation.

Imāms should respect the Qur’ān when leading the Tarāwīḥ Prayer

The greatest favor bestowed upon humanity is the revelation of the Qur’ān as it is the only way human beings can be in continuous touch with their Creator. People can easily measure their level of attachment to their Lord by measuring their level of attachment to the Qur’ān - recitation, study and contemplation of it. This divine writ was not revealed to be a book of hymns for aural enjoyment, but instead as a book of guidance, for Allāh says in the Qur’ān, {(This is) a Book (the Qur’ān) which We have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its verses, and that men of understanding may remember.} [Sūrah Ṣād, 38:29]

Transliteration: Kitabun anzalnahu ilayka mubarakun liyaddabbaroo ayatihi waliyatathakkara oloo alalbabi

As the Qur’ān is the unique and inimitable speech of Allāh, reciting it is a tremendous act of worship. However, its reward and comprehensive benefit can only be achieved once we put into practice what we understand. In fact, not putting enough attention to understanding the Qur’ān is condemned as Allāh the Most High says, {Do they not then think deeply about the Qur’ān, or are there locks upon their hearts (from understanding it?)} [Sūrah Muḥammad 47:24]

Transliteration: Afala yatadabbaroona alqurana am AAala quloobin aqfaluha

Many early scholars also condemned those who read the Qur’ān without putting enough effort into understanding it, for example, it is narrated from Ibn Masʽūd that he said, “Do not scatter it (i.e., recitation of the Qur’ān) like the scattering of cheap dates, and do not ramble with it like the rambling of poetry. Stop at its marvels and stir your heart with it. None of you should let his concern be to reach the end of the chapter.”

The way many Imāms recite during the Tarāwīḥ prayer is inexcusable and should be condemned in the strongest of ways by the people of knowledge, and in fact, any individual who respects the words of God. These Imāms recite the Qur’ān as if they are competing with the allocated time in order to finish the set amount and be rid of a heavy burden placed on their shoulders. In listening to some of them it is extremely difficult to make out what they are saying, whilst simultaneously, they make constant mistakes. There are reports of some mosques completing both twenty rak‘ah (units) of the Tarāwīḥ prayer and a whole juz’ of the Qur’ān in thirty minutes. This means that each rak‘ah takes ninety seconds in which one page of the Qur’ān is recited! What justification can such Imāms (and consequently the committees of such mosques) possibly give?

I would like to pose the following question to individuals who legitimize such conduct and deem it acceptable: Imagine that you are standing before God and that He is looking at you while you are praying, do you think Allāh is happy seeing and hearing His words read in this manner without giving them their due rights in terms of recitation and contemplation? Furthermore, I wonder if any of these Imāms or committee members are bold enough to allege that the Prophet would endorse this kind of prayer.

This kind of recitation is exactly what has been condemned by many of the scholars of the early generation. In fact, of one the characteristics of the Khawārij, a deviant sect, the Prophet informed us of is that their recitation of the Qur’ān will not go beyond their throats, i.e., they only pay lip-service to it; we should be very concerned not to have this trait within us. It was reported that Abῑ Jamrah, a scholar of the second generation, informed Ibn ʽAbbās that he recited very quickly and read the Qur’ān in three days, Ibn ʽAbbās replied by saying. ‘That I recite al-Baqarah in a night and reflect on it and reciting it slowly is more beloved to me than to recite in the manner you mention.’

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allāh have mercy on him) summarized what the Muslim has to do in order to remedy the hardness of his heart with the Qur’ān. He said, ‘There is nothing more beneficial for the heart than reading the Qur’ān with contemplation and reflection. The Qur’ān encompasses all the levels of the travelers, the conditions of the workers, and stations of those possessing knowledge. It is the Qur’ān that generates love, desire, fear, hope, repentance, reliance, pleasure, entrustment, gratitude, patience and the rest of the different states that are life to the heart and perfection of it. Likewise, it repels all the rebuked characteristics and actions that cause the corruption and ruin of the heart. If people were to possess a realization of what the recitation of the Qur’ān with contemplation contains, they would devote themselves to it at the expense of everything else. When the person reads it with reflection and he comes across an āyah (verse) that he is in need of for curing his heart, he repeats it, even if he does so a hundred times or the whole night. Hence, to recite a single āyah of the Qur’ān with contemplation and reflection is better than reciting the Qur’ān to completion without any contemplation. It is also more beneficial for the heart and more conducive to attaining īmān (faith) and tasting the sweetness of the Qur’ān.’

The Prophet used to read in a very slow style and stop at verses that mention paradise or the hell fire. Once he repeated the verse where Allāh says {If You punish them, they are Your slaves, and if You forgive them, verily You, only You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.} [Sūrah al-Mā’idah, 5:118] for the whole night.[ Reported by An-Nisa’I and declared good by Al-Albani]

Muhammad Ibn al-Kaʽb al-Quraẓῑ (d. 120H) preferred to read Sūrah al-Zalzalah and al-Qāriʽah and repeat them a number of times over reading the whole Qur’ān in a very hasty way. Imām Abū Ḥanῑfah once kept repeating Sūrah al-Zalzalah for the whole night.

Many of our acts of worship (ʽibādāt) have lost their spirit and have been transformed into meaningless ritual images where the focus is on completing them irrespective of whether they leave an impact on our souls or not and if they were perfected or at least performed in a truly satisfactory manner. That is why our worship does not change us for the better; our commitment to the dīn (religion/way of life) of Allāh is very weak and our willingness to sacrifice for the sake of Allāh is even more so - our morals and manners are not improving. Many of us want to be rid of the Tarāwīḥ prayer, no matter how it is offered. Humility, tranquility and reflection are insignificant elements for such Muslims. This is the opposite of what Allāh wants from us; we have removed the very elements from our acts of worship that have been purposely placed there to better us and focus instead on quantity rather quality - for those of us who have any focus at all.

I believe it is time we should put a stop to this and mend our relationship with the Qur’ān as Allāh has commanded: {O mankind! There has come to you a good advice from your Lord (i.e. the Quran, ordering all that is good and forbidding all that is evil), and a healing for that (disease of ignorance, doubt, hypocrisy and differences, etc.) in your breasts, - a guidance and a mercy (explaining lawful and unlawful things, etc.) for the believers.} [Sūrah Yunus 10:57]

Transliteration: Ya ayyuha alnnasu qad jaatkum mawAAithatun min rabbikum washifaon lima fee alssudoori wahudan warahmatun lilmumineena

I call upon committee members and Imāms to seek the pleasure of Allah and not the pleasure of their congregation. I call upon Muslims to advice such Imāms and committee members who do not manifest enough respect to the Qur’ān and to consider appointing other Imāms who recite according to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him). We should also remember that completing twenty Rak’ah or even the whole Qur’an during Tarāwīḥ is not compulsory, yet listening to it attentively and reciting it with moderate speed is. If the Tarāwīḥ prayer has to be completed in a specific time, then the amount set to be recited should be reduced so that a better quality of worship is achieved.

I ask Allah to guide us all to follow His Book and the Sunnah of his Messenger and to pardon our shortcomings for He is the Oft-Forgiving Oft-Pardoning.

Repenting In Ramadan

In the name of Allah the most gracious the most merciful

Thanks to Allah who brought us to light, opened the door of repenting to his slaves. We send prayers and peace upon the messenger of Allah, and then:
Repenting in Ramadan….
My dear brother: I congratulate you with the arrival of this blessed month, the month of repenting, forgiveness and stalling from the fire…The month of good and blessing…The month of liberality and beneficence…And I say to myself, to you, and every delinquent:

You whom the guilt didn't satisfy him in Ragab, Till he is still disobeying his God in Shaaban, After that a generous month came to you,So don't make it as well a month of disobedience,Recite the book and extol in it with assiduousness,Because it a month of extolling and the holy Quran.
Come on, come on, the one who is seeking good…
The prophet (peace be upon him) said: "when it is the first night of Ramadan the devils and giant devils are chained up, the doors of the fire are closed, so that not a single door from it is opened, and the doors of heaven are opened, so there is no door from them which is closed, and a caller calls: You who is seeking good come closer, and you who is seeking the evil shorten, and Allah has redeems from the fire, and that is every night" Narrated by Eltermezi.

Yes Ramadan came…So get near to your God, that you disobeyed, get near pleading, devout, regretful, weeping, and say:

Deity of the universe I am coming backAnd the endower of the good endows to me guidance. So it wouldn't be useful when losing the guidance.Remission, kindness lessens my stumbling.Because there is no one else except you who will make the beautiful pardon.
My brother if you weren’t remitted, your eyes shed, and heart broken in front of your God in this month, so when then?
Human, here is Allah admonishing you saying “O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,” [Al-Infitar 82:6]
‏{‏يَا أَيُّهَا الْإِنْسَانُ مَا غَرَّكَ بِرَبِّكَ الْكَرِيمِ}
Transliteration: Yā 'Ayyuhā Al-'Insānu Mā Gharraka Birabbika Al-Karīmi

Yes, you human what decoyed you from God, so that you dared to disobey him and passed the lines, is it ignoring his grace, or forgetting to his censorship and greatness?
My brother! Don't look at how small is the sin, but look at how great is the one you disobeyed.
My brother! Don’t make Allah the easiest one looking at you.

You have good news.

Here I am introducing you good news from your blessed Almighty God and his messenger-(peace be upon him) “Say, "O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful." [Az-Zumar 39:53]
‏{‏قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ}
Transliteration: Qul Yā Ibādī Al-Ladhīna 'Asrafū Alá 'Anfusihim Lā Taqnaţū Min Raĥmati Allāhi 'Inna Allāha Yaghfiru Adh-Dhunūba Jamīāan 'Innahu Huwa Al-Ghafūru Ar-Raĥīmu

So, repent my brother, if you wanted this great profit (Allah exchanges your sins with good deeds). Then listen to what your beloved (peace be upon him) said encouraging the repentance "Allah more glade with his slave repentance" (agreed upon)

And also said: " Be he exalted: Son of Adam whenever you invocated and hoped me, I forgive you what was from you and I don't care, Son of Adam if you sins reached the firmament then you asked me forgiveness, I will forgive you and I don't care"

And when the messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) saw a woman searching for her son among the captives, so when she saw him she hugged him and feed him from her breast, so he said: Do you see this can throw her son in the fire, so they said no, he said: Allah is more merciful from her with her son"

Allah is Bigger
…So should we lag from the repentance after this merit? Should we delay the repentance after this liberality? O Allah Your far above every lack and defect, how merciful you are, how kind you are, how generous you are.

Speak out with yourself…
What prevents you from the repentance, the following of righteousness? As you are saying: The family, the society, the friends! I am afraid that I repent, and then I go back! My sins are too much so how I can be forgiven! I am afraid about my family and money!
So I say to you: Do you think you would be saying this to your God, the day you meet him? No I swear by Allah…But it is just faked obstacles and barriers that can be broken only by the one who fears his God.

And if the souls were big
The bodies get tired in achieving their desires.

So be honored with your religion, have true determination on good, keep it up, depend on Allah, then you remember the mercy of your God and his wide forgiveness.

My brother/my sister…. If the Angel of Death came to you in this moment, do you agree to meet your God at this situation?

My brother/my sister… Excuse me; don't run from yourself and its judgment, if you didn't judge it now, tomorrow in your grave you will regret, when the regret is useless.

The new birth...

Keep in mind that the repentance isn't only for this month, but all the months, and who knows? May be your new birth will be in the month of goodness and blessing, the human may be born two times: the day he comes out from the darkness of his mother womb, or the day he comes out from the darkness of the sin to the light of obedience, so be that one.

And I advise you…. That you catch with the good guys that benefit you even after your death-After the permission of Allah-with their invocation… Catch them and go with them in their departure and arrival, take patience with them until you meet your God, at which you and them are told: “Peace be upon you for what you patiently endured. And excellent is the final home” [Ar-Raad 13:24]
{سَلَامٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِمَا صَبَرْتُمْ فَنِعْمَ عُقْبَى الدَّارِ‏}
Transliteration: Salāmun Alaykum Bimā Şabartum Fanima Uqbá Ad-Dāri

A story and a situation…

He was with the good guys, then he left them, he began remissness with his religion issues… (We ask Allah the protection)… And one day he was travelling in a picnic…And in the way the car was turned over…Then it was the recovery room….Then death.
The sad news came… We prayed on him, he was carried to the tomb… put in his grave… In the dust… He won't be back….. The eyes shed….the heart grieved …at that time one of the good guys (I suppose him and Allah is his adequate and I don't recommend on Allah anyone) he was his first friend, he sat at his grave bowing and invocating for him.
At that time I knew who from your friends benefit you after your death.
My brother, don't be from those who Allah said about them “And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, ‘Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter.’” [Al Furqan 25:27-29]

Before the doors close…

My brother before the door closes specify (now and don't delay) the path that you will pass in and will be your manner in life and the hereafter.
How happiness it is, and how joy in the heart glades, when he comes back to his God repentant and catch up with the good guys……. I Swear by Allah that it is the happiness that no one has tasted it except those who tried it before.
My brother in religion… if you are determined on repenting and coming back…Returning and submission.

You should know that this repentance has conditions that must be done:

1- Regretting what you have done.
2- Stopping the sin.
3- Determination of not coming back, and if you came back renew the repentance.
4-The repentance should be before, then gargling and the rise of the sun from its setting.

Pray to Allah prophet Mohammed, all his family, and companions.

Amal Dan Iman

342-343 no. 726; shahih].

Syaikhul-Islaam Ibnu Taimiyyah rahimahullah berkata :
Al-Imam Al-Barbahaariy rahimahullah berkata :

[16]    Rib’iy bin Khiraasy bin Jahsy bin ‘Amru bin ‘Abdillah Al-Ghaththafaaniy Abu Maryam Al-Kuufiy (); seorang yang tsiqah lagi ‘aabid (w. 100/101/104 H). 318 no. 1889].
[17]    Asy-Syaikh Ibnu Baaz rahimahullah pernah ditanya sebagai berikut :

Definisi Iman

Definisi Iman secara Bahasa
Abu Al-Jauzaa'

Iman secara bahasa berarti at-tashdiiq (pembenaran), sebagaimana firman Allah ta’ala :

Definisi Iman Secara Istilah Syar’iy
1.      Al-Imaam Ismaa’iil bin Muhammad At-Taimiy rahimahullah berkata :
“Dan Allah tidak akan menyia-nyiakan imanmu” [QS. Al-Baqarah : 143].
maka Al-Imaam Al-Bukhaariy rahimahullah berkata dalam Shahih-nya :
